At our California salons, base pricing for services is set by the stylist, as they are all independent. Prices vary based on continued education, schedule demand, and experience.

Prices will also vary per appointment based on: Length and thickness of the hair, how much product is used, and how much time is needed for the service.

For starting prices, please select the 'Book Now' button at the top of the page. If you would like more specific pricing for your hair, we recommend scheduling a Consultation with the stylist of your choice. All hair services are customized to you!

Please Note: Not all stylists are available for booking online. For stylists doing their own booking, please select the 'Contact' button below the name of your preferred stylist above.
If for any reason you are not happy with your hair service, please contact your stylist within the same week of your original appointment. Each stylist has their own personal policy, but most adjustments can be made free of charge within a 10 day time frame. Anything outside of this time frame will be considered a new service and will be charged the full price.
The Young American has no influence on stylist's policies for no-cost adjustments or pricing of services.
General Pricing Information

When booking an appointment over the phone or online, a credit card is required to reserve your date and time. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking.
At our California locations, the cancellation fee is subject to change by stylist, as they are all independent. These changes will be indicated on stylist website profiles. As a general rule: Cancellations within 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment will be charged 50% of the service price. The cancellation fee is charged to the credit card on file. It is non-refundable, and cannot be applied to a future appointment. If the card on file is unable to be charged (insufficient funds, cancelled card, etc.), the stylist may choose not to book you for any future appointments, and your online booking privilege may be revoked.
It is the client's responsibility to communicate if they are unable to make the appointment. Feel free to call the salon, email us, or reach out to your stylist directly.
Please Note: Administrative Staff work different hours from the stylists, and they do not work on Sundays and Mondays. If you cannot reach us to cancel in time, please refer to your stylist's contact information on the website. You may also manage your appointments here. Responding to your confirmation email/text does not automatically cancel your appointment in our booking system.

Client Parking is available in the back parking lot of Cox's Market Plaza, as well as various street parking throughout Old Town Tustin.
Please Note: Most Tustin street parking has a 2 hour time limit. While we haven't actually seen many tickets get issued, we legally have to say: The Young American is not responsible for personal parking tickets guests may receive by going over these time limits. Park at your own risk when using street parking!

On-Site Location Manager
Destiny heads up our Old Town location, and keeps everything flowing smoothly with a smile. Outside of the salon, she enjoys music, travel, and hanging out with friends.
Julia
Executive Manager
Julia has been with The Young American since December 2016, and has done a little bit of everything - answering the phones, spreadsheets, purchase orders, tech support, and organizing education for the stylists. She even designs our website! We lovingly refer to her as the Salon Wizard because of that. She started in California, and now lives in Oregon with her husband. Somehow she still oversees everything remotely, we think it's her wizard powers. 🧙🏻♂️
Ashley
Social Media Manager
Ashley has been with us since November 2017 and has quickly morphed into the most talented of all of us at Social Media. She's on top of everything from posting content, Instagram DMs, helping us run specials for clients and contests for the stylists... She's awesome. If you ever DM us, she's the one that will answer!
