SAfety Requirements

The listed procedures will be expected of everyone before entering the salons. Please take these very seriously, so that we can assure a healthy environment and continue to provide our services.

 

These procedures are mandatory and non-negotiable for everyone's safety.

appointments

Please use the "Book Now" button at the top left side of our website to schedule your appointment. Stylists who are not available online will have a personal wait list for appointments. If you would like to be placed on the waitlist for a specific stylist, please email us at info@theyoungamerican.com

 

We are not able to accommodate walk-ins at this time.

Safety Questionnaire

The day before your appointment, you will receive a safety questionnaire from your stylist either by email or text. Please complete this form as soon as possible, and answer all questions honestly.

If you have answered "Yes" to yourself or an immediate family member exhibiting flu-like or other symptoms in the last two weeks, your stylist will reach out to reschedule your appointment.

wait in your car + come to your appointment alone

When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car until your scheduled appointment time. When entering for your appointment, please check in at the iPad with your email or phone number associated with your appointment.

 

We will not be able to accommodate additional guests, family or friends. As much as we love to see them, this does include dogs and kids. Thank you for understanding.

leave unnecessary items in your car

This includes coats, large bags, and anything that will not be used during your visit.
Just the essentials please!

 

We have suspended our drink service during this time. We ask that you please not bring in any drinks for the safety of yourself and others.

temperature + masks

All guests will be required to have their temperature taken before entering the salon. Any temperatures above 99 degrees will be rescheduled 2+ weeks out.

 

All guests + staff will be required to wear a mask that goes over the ears, and covers the nose and mouth at all times. This also applies to appointments for children ages 2 years and older. If you are scheduled for a color service, please consider wearing a disposable mask so as to not stain your nice fabric ones.

 

Please do not remove your mask at any time inside the salon. This is for the safety of everyone, and we thank you for your cooperation.

Hand sanitation + Distancing

When you enter, please use the hand sanitizing stations available, or wash your hands in the bathroom.

 

As much as possible, please limit the touching of surfaces while in the salon, and maintain a 6 foot distance with anyone who is not your stylist out of respect.

product purchases

If you are in the salon, please speak to your stylist about what you need, and allow them to pull the items off the shelf for you. Please refrain from touching products, and thank you for understanding!

If you prefer a touchless experience, please visit our web store. All items will be shipped securely to your door, and your stylist will still receive credit for your purchase!
